Hummingbird Hill Doxies - Miniature Long Hair Dachshunds
Mendelssohn Choc-o-latte ("Latte"), our chocolate dapple mama was born 9-9-06. She has produced many colorful litters so far and is our sweetest gal. Mendelssohn is our sweet black & tan papa dog. Born 12-21-05, he is the smartest dog we own. Mendelssohn was my first miniature long-haired dachshund, and he is my sweetest boy.

Dollee (B & T) had her first litter of Easter 2009 and has had three more litters since then. Dollee had a litter of 6 on January 6, 2011. Visit our new "Puppies" page to learn more about our newest additions from Dollee Babee and Pocket Puppy and our new "Get Ready" program for folks interested in learning more about puppy raising.

Peaches, a red girl, is the sweetest gal. After producing several beautiful litters for us, which included our current Pocket Puppy, we retired her after her last litter in March 2010. She now lives the high life like the princess she is. She sleeps on the sofa or bed and eats, and she regularly rolls onto her back for some tummy rubs. She's a dear one and we love her!

We still have a continuing line from Peaches, because from Peaches and Mendelssohn came our Pocket Puppy. Born in 2009, he was the runt in a litter of 6, and my husband would carry the little fellow around in his pocket, hence the name. We kept Pocket because he was a cutie, and now he's a cute teenager and proud pappa! Pocket loves to play and take long walks or runs, and he's always the first in line for some loving and licking.
